Music Mondays: Power

Power to some may mean money and control. But to me, power simply means taking charge of your own path (that sounds way more Disney than I intended). All too often, we are surrounded by forces that can discourage us from being the Vikings we are. But it is necessary to always stay strong, keep your head up, and listen to some songs that will make you feel like the world is your own oyster.

I would like to imagine that Katniss Everdeen and Sheryl Sandberg both listen to this playlist in preparation to accomplish all of the majestic things they do in their daily routines. Although some of these songs may not be free from all error, they still make me feel like almighty woman ready to take on the world and all of its bullshit. I hope they have the same impact on you, soldier.
